Clinical Expertise
- I have worked in an elementary school daycare (BASP program with District 200).
- I also have some training in TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention).
My Story
The work I enjoy most is with kids. I had speech therapy when I was young, and loved my teachers. Having worked in a school, I see why it’s so important for kids to be well prepared for school. Additionally, I have studied a lot of Spanish and would hope to be able to use it and assist Spanish speakers.
My Blue Bird Day
I just found out about it, but I believe a place that offers a variety of therapeutic methods is the best thing to allow kids to thrive.
My Advocacy
I currently work at Re:New project, an organization that employs refugee women. I also am involved in an organization that offers camp scholarships for fatherless children, who often are in unique custody situations.
My Blue Bird Day Goals
- I’m interested in pursuing a graduate degree, with something related to education, speech, or nutrition. I know that I like training and want to advocate for families.
